Pizza d’aMare 2025: When the Scent of Pizza Meets the Sea at the Tastiest Festival on the Sorrento Coast

From May 27 to 29, the Marina of Meta becomes the capital of taste.

Three days of top-quality pizza, music, and local tradition – with a special section dedicated to children.

Some say pizza is an art. In Meta, from May 27 to 29, it will also be a celebration.

Pizza d’aMare returns for its highly anticipated 4th edition, turning the scenic Marina di Meta into a seafront festival of flavors, aromas, and authentic experiences – where the true identity of the Sorrento Coast is served… hot out of the oven.

Organized by the Municipality of Meta and the Pro Loco Terra delle Sirene, with the support of the Metropolitan City of Naples, Pizza d’aMare is part of the official “ViviAmo Meta” cultural calendar.

This year, the event promises three unforgettable evenings, where locals and visitors will share much more than pizza – they’ll share community, tradition, and joy.

🎙️ “Pizza d’aMare is our way of showing that Meta is alive, welcoming, and generous,” says Mayor Giuseppe Tito.

“An event where tradition meets innovation, and pizza becomes the symbol of a community that works together and proudly opens its doors to the world.”

Some of the best-known pizzerias of the Sorrento Coast will take part – from the iconic Pizza a Metro – The University of Pizza, to Tico Tico, Zio Sam, Dal Ceppone, and many others, including artisanal newcomers.

And to end on a sweet note, the much-loved Cafiero Dolci will be offering their signature desserts, including gluten-free options.

But there’s more.

At the heart of the event is Pizza Junior – a special section dedicated to children aged 6 to 11.

This free hands-on workshop, led by the experts of Casa Scarica Cooking Class, gives kids the chance to explore the magic of pizza-making: kneading, stretching, topping, baking… and, of course, tasting their own creation.

🎙️ “Engaging children and families means building a deeper connection with our territory,” explains Deputy Mayor and Tourism Councillor Pasquale Cacace.

“Pizza d’aMare is the perfect welcome card for those who choose Meta for real, meaningful travel experiences.”

Each evening will come alive with the infectious energy of Radio Ibiza's DJ set, broadcast live from the beach, and will close with a breathtaking fireworks show over the sea, curated by the Terra del Mare Seaside Consortium.
